    EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) is a best practice in treating trauma. First developed by Francine Shapiro, it has been found to be extremely effective in a relatively short amount of time. The negative impacts of trauma can be hard to shake and can often effect a person both physically and mentally.

    Meet Kristen Boice, LMFT

    Kristen Boice has been a practicing psychotherapist for over 17 years with a group counseling practice, Pathways to Healing Counseling, in Indianapolis. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, EMDR- trained clinician, motivational speaker, workshop presenter and trainer, and Close the Chapter podcast host. She is 
    focused on helping people close the chapter on things that no longer serve them like toxic relationships, negative behaviors and patterns, and old beliefs, and step into a different way of being – their real, authentic selves.
